Visual Identity for a European Sustainability Project

Logo and identity concepts developed for SMILE CITY, a European project on circular economy and sustainable urban innovation. My proposal was shortlisted among the top candidates in the international selection process, highlighting creativity and alignment with the project’s vision, even if not ultimately chosen.
A European Vision
SMILE CITY is a European project promoting sustainable urban innovation and circular economy. The visual identity proposal was designed to reflect its values of low-emission mobility, reuse, and community-driven progress.
Icons for change
As part of the visual system, I designed a flexible set of icons adaptable to multiple formats and contexts, particularly for road signage and the urban cycling world.

These icons combine clarity and energy, making the identity both functional and engaging. The guiding claim, “Be an icon of change”, plays on the dual meaning of “icon”: both a graphic symbol and something iconic, turning every sign into a call for sustainable transformation.
